The same alarm stops working.

Give your brain one sound every morning and it learns to sleep through it. Shuffle never gives it the chance — a different tone, song or video wakes you each day, from a list you arranged yourself.

What it does

A clock app, and then the part that matters

Alarms, world clock, timer and stopwatch. What sets it apart is what happens at the moment it rings.

Wake up to a video

Pick a clip from your own library. It plays full-screen behind the time and the buttons, and the screen turns to match the clip — portrait for a phone-shot video, landscape for 16:9. The clip's own soundtrack is the alarm.

Every video alarm still carries a tone underneath. If the file is gone, the decoder refuses it, or it freezes mid-alarm, the tone rings anyway. Waking to a video only counts if it always wakes you.

Picking a video to wake up to means picking the whole video.

Shuffle playlists Premium

One list holding the built-in tones, songs of your own and video clips, in whatever order you arranged them — or drawn at random. One entry wakes you each morning and the next is up tomorrow.

One morning is one entry. The move to the next one happens when you dismiss, so tomorrow gets the next entry whether or not the app stayed running.

The shuffle playlist editor: source chips for Tones, Files, Folder and Playlist, then four entries numbered 1 to 4 — two videos and two tones — each with a drag handle, plus toggles for Random and for playing the videos' own sound.

Five tones you choose by ear

Radar, Chimes, Beacon, Ripple, Classic Bell. Tapping a row in the picker plays it — at the volume it will actually ring at — so you choose by ear rather than by name.

They're synthesised waveforms, generated as code: reproducible and licence-free.

Alarms that fit the day

Time, label, repeat days with Once / Every day / Weekdays / Weekends shortcuts, vibrate, and a snooze of any length — six presets plus a custom value from 1 to 120 minutes. Swipe a row to delete, with undo.

The list carries a live next-alarm header: when it rings, whether that's today, tomorrow or a named weekday, and a counting-down "rings in…".

World clock, and alarms anchored to a city

Pin any of roughly 440 cities from the bundled IANA database, each with its own clock, whether it's a calendar day ahead or behind, and how far off local time it is.

Set an alarm for 07:00 in Rome and it rings when Rome reaches 07:00, whatever that comes to where you are. Daylight saving is handled properly, not with a frozen offset.

The Clock tab: a local time card reading 5:03 PM on Saturday 1 August, then pinned cities — Tokyo at 6:03 AM tomorrow, London at 10:03 PM today and Bermuda at 6:03 PM today, each with its offset.

Timer and stopwatch

Hour, minute and second wheels, presets from 1 to 30 minutes, a depleting progress ring, pause and resume, +1:00, and a full-screen alert with Stop and Restart. A running timer survives leaving the tab and closing the app.

The stopwatch records laps with split and cumulative times, colouring the fastest and the slowest.

The parts you only notice when they're missing

Every screen has a landscape layout

Not a scaled-down copy — alarms go two to a row, and the ringing alarm puts the clock left and the buttons right.

Light, dark, or follow the device

Digital or analog clock face, chosen separately for the Clock tab and for a ringing alarm.

Choosing a video needs no permissions

It goes through the system photo picker, so you hand over one file rather than granting access to your library.

The ring screen shows over the lock screen

Without unlocking it. Dismissing an alarm at 6:45 hands the phone back locked.

A paywall in front of "wake me at seven" is not a business model

Alarms, video alarms, custom sounds, the world clock, the timer and the stopwatch are free forever. Premium adds shuffle playlists and removes the ads. That is all it does.

Nothing an alarm clock has to do is behind it. Nothing gets taken away.
